The Singapore Squash Rackets Association (SSRA) is seeking an passionate Events Executive to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of squash-related events and tournaments throughout the year. With a focus on delivering exceptional experiences, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the sport and engaging the local squash community to drive our Pathway Development initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the end-to-end organisation of squash tournaments, clinics, and other events, including venue booking, participant registration, and logistics coordination
  • Manage multiple projects, events, timelines and budgets to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Run and manage tournaments on required software - eg. Tournament Software, SportyHQ
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive event attendance and participation
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including players, sponsors, and volunteers, to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Oversee event budgets and ensure prudent financial management
  • Analyse event data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies
  • Be part of a team in the delivery of regional and world-class events, attended by top squash athletes in the world
  • Collaborate with and support the broader team to enhance the overall squash experience

What we're looking for

  • A strong and active interest in sports, and a desire to grow the sport
  • Minimum ITE/Diploma in Sports Management, Physical Education, or related discipline
  • Preferable 1 year of experience in event management, preferably in the sports or recreational industry
  • Fresh graduates with an athlete background or a strong interest in competitive sport are welcome
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
  • Proficient in or have ability to master event management software and tools - experience with Tournament Planner and SportyHQ will be an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office - Desktop publishing suites such as Adobe and AI tools will be an added advantage
  • Adaptable and able to work well in a team environment

Eligibility: Open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only due to work pass requirements
