On 1st December 2024, we held the soft launch of the children’s picture book JUARA: The Story of Singapore’s Squash Legend Zainal Abidin at the Kallang Squash Centre.

Written by award-winning children’s book author Rilla Melati Bahri and published by Mini Monsters, JUARA tells the story of Zainal’s journey towards achieving success in squash. From learning to hit the ball using a discarded, warped wooden racket to becoming a highly decorated athlete, the book features many moments that will inspire both grown-ups and children alike.
